Celebrate the life and artwork of local artist Fran Maedel with over 100 pieces of her artwork on display. Fran was one of the first artists to join efforts to remember the battlefield in advance of the Bicentennial through art. Fran did a lot of work for the Battlefield over many years and her very last painting was for battlefield painting now known as the “Unfinished Work”. The Art Exhibition will run from November 6 through December 10th with the Tribute Auction on Friday, December 10th. Some of Fran’s originals will not be for sale, however other art will be auctioned on December 10th.
