La Compagnie Musical Dance Troupe® has been performing traditional music, dance and stories of the Great Lakes region since 2007, with a multi-instrumental repertoire that spans over 400 years. The multi-instrumental ensemble returns to the River Raisin National Battlefield Park to give the audience a sampling of “joie de vivre” from our early French beginnings. Toe-tapping reels and jigs, hearty Great Lakes sea shanties with rousing choruses, touching ballads and lively dance demonstrations are all part of the fun. So “bring yer dancin’ shoes” if you are so inclined, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
This event is FREE and open to the public.
