Harvest on the Raisin

The River Raisin National Battlefield Park will host the Friends of the River Raisin’s annual “Harvest On The Raisin” event on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Catch a small glimpse on what harvest season was like along the River Raisin during the 18th and 19th centuries as they prepared for winter. Fun activities wait for all to participate, including: spinning, quilting, rope making, cooking demonstrations, period games and much more.
The Battlefield Park Visitor Center will be open from 10am-5pm. Bring a friend to encourage them to become a member of the Foundation to help us continue to develop this local treasure. Don’t forget to visit our gift shop to see new items we are adding weekly that are Michigan made!
