Dr. Roy Finkenbine presents “The Underground Railroad in ‘Indian Country’

River Raisin National Battlefield Park will host Dr. Roy Finkenbine on February 28th from 7:00pm-8:00pm as he presents “The Underground Railroad in ‘Indian Country’: Northwest Ohio, 1795–1843.” Dr. Finkenbine is an esteemed author, professor, and interim director of African American studies at University of Detroit Mercy. This presentation will explore how Native Americans assisted escaped slaves on their journeys towards freedom. The event is free and open to the public.
